Terms of service
Version of October 19, 2026
These terms describe how Sabai Legal provides its services: how an engagement starts, how prices are made up, how payment works, what we guarantee and what each side is responsible for. Please read them before we start working together.
1. General
1.1. Services are provided by Sabai Legal (“we”, “us”). Our full company details are set out in the contract with each client.
1.2. These terms apply to all our services. The details of each engagement, including scope, price, stages and timelines, are set out in a written offer or contract with you. If the contract differs from these terms, the contract prevails.
1.3. Information on this website, including prices, timelines, document lists and news about rule changes, is general. It is not a public offer and does not replace advice on your specific situation. Rules in Thailand change often, so our pages show the date on which the information was current.
2. Our services
2.1. We provide the following to foreigners and companies in Thailand:
- consulting: reviewing your situation, finding a lawful solution, explaining requirements and risks;
- document preparation: forms, applications, contracts, translations and document packages for authorities and banks;
- representation and support: filing documents and dealing with authorities under a power of attorney, and accompanying you in person to immigration, the bank, meetings and negotiations.
2.2. Our main areas are visas and documents, companies and licences, accounting and tax, contracts and international trade, deal support, and property and family matters.
2.3. Where the law requires a special status or licence for a particular action, such as representation in court, that action is carried out by a specialist who holds the required right.
2.4. We work only by lawful means. We do not provide nominee shareholders, rent out deposit money, prepare false documents or take part in schemes to get around the law. If there is no lawful solution for your goal, we will tell you so plainly.
3. How an engagement starts
3.1. Request. You send a request on the website or message us.
3.2. Case review. We clarify the details, look at your documents if needed and suggest a lawful solution. If an answer requires a full consultation or a review of a large number of documents, we will tell you in advance whether it is paid and how much it costs.
3.3. Written offer or contract. Before any work starts, you receive in writing:
- exactly what we will do and what counts as the result;
- our fee and government fees, as separate lines;
- any third-party costs, such as translations, certifications or courier services;
- the payment stages;
- estimated timelines;
- a list of the documents and actions we need from you.
3.4. Start. Work begins once you have accepted the offer, by signing the contract or confirming it in writing in our conversation, and made the first payment.
4. Prices
4.1. We always show two amounts separately:
- our fee, which is the price of our work;
- government fees, which are set by the Thai authorities.
4.2. Government fees are set and changed by the authorities themselves and are paid separately from our fee, either directly to the authority or through us at the actual amount with proof of payment. If an authority changes a fee, the new amount applies.
4.3. Prices on the website are for a typical case. The exact price is fixed in the written offer after we have reviewed your case and before work begins.
4.4. The price in the offer does not change without your agreement. If the scope changes, for example because a new task comes up or an authority asks for extra documents that were not part of the agreed scope, we agree any additional fee with you in advance. No extra work starts without your agreement.
4.5. There are no hidden charges: everything you pay is stated in the offer or contract.
5. Payment
5.1. You pay in stages:
- 30% of our fee at the start, after you accept the offer;
- 70% of our fee after the result defined in the offer or contract.
5.2. Government fees and third-party costs are not part of these stages. They are paid when the case needs them, usually before documents are filed.
5.3. For recurring services, such as monthly accounting, and for complex multi-stage projects, the payment schedule may differ and is set out in the contract.
5.4. Payment methods are stated in the invoice or contract. We accept payment only by lawful means and confirm every payment.
5.5. If an authority refuses an application for reasons unrelated to any mistake on our part (see section 7), the final settlement for the work done and the next steps, such as resubmission or another lawful option, are determined by the contract.
6. Timelines
6.1. Timelines in our offers and on the website are estimates. Decisions are made by the authorities, and the actual timeline depends on them: queues, public holidays, internal checks, requests for additional documents and rule changes.
6.2. Timelines also depend on how quickly you provide documents and complete the steps required from you.
6.3. We state the timelines for our own actions, such as preparing documents, filing and answering your questions, in the offer and we keep to them. If a timeline shifts, we will tell you why and suggest what can be done.
7. Our guarantee
7.1. “If an application is refused because of our mistake, we refund our fee in full.”
7.2. We guarantee the process, not the authority’s decision. Visas, permits, registrations and licences are granted by the Thai authorities at their discretion and under the rules in force. That is why we never promise “100% approval”: nobody can honestly promise that.
7.3. Our mistake includes, for example, cases where:
- we prepared an incomplete or incorrect document package although you gave us everything we asked for;
- we made a mistake in forms or applications we filled in;
- we missed a filing deadline or another deadline through our own fault.
7.4. It is not our mistake if an application is refused because:
- you provided false, incomplete or forged information or documents;
- you did not tell us about important circumstances, such as previous refusals, overstays, entry bans, criminal records or past violations;
- you did not meet a legal requirement, such as the financial requirements for a visa;
- you did not attend in person when required, or did not provide documents on time;
- the law or the authority’s practice changed after filing;
- the authority used its discretion even though the documents were filed correctly.
7.5. The guarantee covers our fee. Government fees and third-party costs have already been paid to authorities and other organisations; they are refunded only if that authority’s or organisation’s own rules provide for it.
8. Refunds
8.1. Cancellation before work starts. If you cancel before we have started work, we refund your first payment in full.
8.2. Cancellation after work starts. If you cancel after work has started, we refund the amount you have paid less the value of the work actually done and the costs already incurred, such as government fees, translations and certifications. The value of the work done is calculated under the contract.
8.3. Refund under the guarantee. If an application is refused because of our mistake, we refund our fee in full as described in section 7.
8.4. To request a refund, contact us through the channels listed on our Contacts page. Refunds are made within the period stated in the contract, using the same method you paid with unless we agree otherwise.
9. Your obligations
So that we can do the job well, you agree to:
- provide accurate, complete and genuine information and documents;
- tell us honestly about anything that may affect the case, such as previous refusals, overstays, entry bans, criminal records, disputes and debts;
- provide documents and complete the required steps within the agreed timelines;
- attend in person when the law or an authority requires it, for example to give biometrics, sign documents, open a bank account or register a marriage;
- pay the work stages, government fees and agreed costs on time;
- tell us about changes that matter for the case, such as a new passport, address, marital status or employer;
- not ask us to break the law.
If these conditions are not met, timelines may shift and the risk of refusal may increase. Such consequences are not our mistake.
10. Our obligations
We will:
- work in good faith, professionally and only by lawful means;
- be honest about your options, risks and chances;
- keep you updated on the status of your case and on important deadlines;
- keep your information confidential;
- return original documents once the work is complete.
11. Confidentiality
11.1. We treat all information and documents you give us as confidential. Only the staff and specialists working on your case, who are bound by confidentiality, have access to them.
11.2. We disclose your information to third parties only with your consent, where needed to provide the service (for example, when filing documents with an authority on your instructions), or where the law requires it.
11.3. On request, we will sign a separate non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
11.4. How we process personal data is described in our Privacy policy.
12. Liability
12.1. Decisions on visas, permits, registrations and licences are made by the Thai authorities. We are not responsible for their decisions, or for delays or rule changes on their side.
12.2. We are not responsible for consequences caused by false or incomplete information or documents from the client, or for the actions of third parties outside our control, such as banks, courier services and counterparties.
12.3. Our liability to you for a given service is limited to the fee you paid us for that service. This limit does not apply where Thai law does not allow liability to be limited, for example in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
12.4. Neither side is liable for failing to perform its obligations because of force majeure, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, communication failures and other events the side could not foresee or prevent. Each side will inform the other of such circumstances without delay.
13. Communication
13.1. Our official channels are the WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, phone and email contacts listed on our Contacts page, where you will also find our working hours.
13.2. Agreements reached in our conversations, such as accepting an offer or a change of scope, count as written agreements unless the contract requires otherwise.
13.3. If someone contacts you on behalf of Sabai Legal from contacts not listed on the Contacts page, please check against that page and let us know.
13.4. We communicate in Russian, English and Thai. These terms are published in Russian, English, Thai and Chinese; if the versions differ, the contract signed with you prevails.
14. Governing law and disputes
14.1. These terms and our contracts with clients are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
14.2. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it through negotiation. Send us your claim through the channels on our Contacts page, and we will review it and reply in writing.
14.3. If the dispute cannot be settled through negotiation, it will be heard by the competent court of Thailand.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page, with its date shown at the top. Contracts already signed are governed by the terms in force when they were signed, unless the parties agree otherwise.
16. Contacts
For questions about these terms, payment or refunds, contact us through the website form or the messengers listed on our Contacts page.
