    Accounting

    Thai companies, including dormant ones

Accounting by subscription for Thai companies, including dormant ones. By law, a company keeps books from its registration date, files monthly returns if it pays salaries, makes payments subject to withholding tax or is VAT-registered, and once a year files audited statements with the DBD and the Revenue Department. We keep your books, prepare and file the returns, remind you of every deadline and explain the numbers in English or Russian.

    Bank account

Personal or company account, with us at the branch

We help you open a personal or company account at a Thai bank. The service is for foreigners on a non-immigrant visa and for owners of Thai companies: every bank has its own document list, and customer checks are stricter than they used to be. We choose a bank that fits your visa, collect and check your documents, go to the branch with you and speak to the bank in Thai. The bank makes the decision — we cannot promise the outcome, but we do everything we can so that your documents are not the reason for a refusal.

    What's included

    • Everything in Bank choice
    • Confirming the branch's requirements before the visit
    • Going to the branch with you and speaking to the bank in Thai
    • Help with the bank's forms and setting up mobile banking
    • If the bank says no — the reasons and a plan with another bank

How should we reply?

Frequently asked questions

Can we switch to you mid-year?

Yes. We first review your books and filings, then take over.

How do we send you documents?

Photos or scans via Telegram, LINE or email. Originals by courier once a month, if needed.

Can I open an account on a visa exemption or tourist visa?

Don't count on it. KBank, for example, states that it does not open accounts on a tourist visa, visa on arrival or visa exemption — it needs a non-immigrant visa. We can help you choose one.

What about a DTV?

KBank treats the DTV as a travel visa and does not open accounts for DTV holders. Other banks have their own rules, and they change, so we check the current position before your visit. If you need an account to live in Thailand, we can discuss changing your visa.

I spend less than 180 days a year in Thailand. Do I need to pay?

Not on foreign income. If you spent less than 180 days in Thailand in the year you earned the income, it is not taxed, even if you bring it in later. Thai-source income — work, business or property in Thailand — is taxed however many days you stay.

Is money earned before 2024 taxed?

No. Income earned before 1 January 2024 can be brought in tax-free. Keep statements that show this: the Revenue Department may ask you to prove where the money came from.
